My name is Saad, and I am a CNRS researcher working at the intersection of theoretical quantum chemistry and physics.
My research spans multiple directions within quantum science. A key focus is on strongly correlated quantum many-body systems, which I explore through the lens of quantum information theory and quantum computing, with applications ranging from quantum chemistry to condensed matter physics. I also develop theoretical and computational frameworks to address many-body problems. In addition, I work on the theory of open quantum systems, with particular emphasis on the quantum transport of energy and information.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Physics in 2018 in Besançon, France (UTINAM institute). I realised then a first postdoc of two years in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Visscher's group, Vrije Universiteit). I started in september 2021, a second postdoctoral stage in Strasbourg, France (Laboratoire de Chimie Quantique). In October 2023, I started to work as a permanent CNRS researcher in the same group in Strasbourg.
